4H20 Water Ambassadors Scholarship and Sponsorship Program

Offers financial support and career development opportunities to students in Burleson and Milam Counties actively participating in the Texas 4-H Water Ambassador Program (4-H2O) and provides up to $5,000, paid to the higher education institution of their choice upon graduation. This initiative covers participation fees, provides reimbursements for program-related activities, and awards an annual scholarship aimed at fostering future water industry leaders.
The Texas 4-H Water Ambassadors Program provides high school youth an opportunity to gain advanced knowledge and develop leadership skills related to the science, technology, engineering, and management of water in Texas.
POSGCD Water Ambassadors scholarship program – The program will provide a scholarship worth $1250 annually to students who meet the requirements. Also included in this action is reimbursable student expenses to participate in the program. This reimbursement will include annual participation fees, spring and fall retreats, conferences, and/or other water-related meetings and trainings not covered by the program. The POSGCD Water Ambassadors scholarship will be awarded annually to Milam and Burleson county students who are selected to participate.
