General Manager Gary Westbrook was invited to teach yesterday afternoon in Cameron in conjunction with the Milam Co. Extension Service Water Day Camp.
This portion of the afternoon education included very basic hydrology, groundwater-surface water interaction, recharge of aquifers, and pumping effects of wells upon each other. The District’s groundwater model was used to demonstrate groundwater flow. Westbrook also dispersed fun and educational conservation materials to all students.
