The District provides educational materials and presentations to the citizens of the District concerning groundwater, conservation, and management strategies. We always welcome presentation requests, whether it is for a conference or a 15-minute organization meeting. If you are interested in learning more about the District’s management strategies, the aquifers and groundwater within the District, and/or conservation practices and tips, contact our office at (512) 455-9900.
We also offer educational courses and events for the community. If you’re interested in learning more about our groundwater conservation courses, click here. Every year, the District hosts the Milam & Burleson Counties Groundwater Summit and brings in groundwater experts from across Texas to speak. We also send out conservation tips and District information in our newsletters and printed materials.
