Landscapable: Planning an Easy, Water-Efficient Landscape

This two-hour “EarthKind” workshop will consist of a one-hour training session presented indoors, followed by an hour of hands-on demonstration in the outside demonstration gardens outside of the Post Oak Savannah GCD building.

Participants will learn about how to prepare and improve soil, select the best plants, how to plant them, and more, to help set you up for success in own yard and garden! Program Specialist and Ph.D. candidate, Tim Hartmann, specializes in EarthKind landscapes, which uses researched-back techniques that focus on ways to get the most out of your landscape while reducing water and fertilizer requirements. This event is free to the public and refreshments will be provided by program host, Post Oak Savannah GCD, and drawings for free prizes will include gardening tools and even plants to help you get started. Seating is limited so don’t forget to reserve your seat!
